Hello,

I'm new to this tribe but I have been hearing about the fire gathering in Thailand for sometime. I realize that it is probably coming to a close. I was *this close* to attending but I decided to wait a bit to travel. So I will be in Thailand from March -April. It would be a great joy to me to join up with other dancers for some fire-spinning on the beach. Reach out and touch me if you share this interest or have some info on the happenings out there. BTW, Forrest, your posts have been remarkably informative.

with flames of joy,
Heather

Hi Heather, glad to hear you are coming to Thailand, it is great here, the tsunami has had no effect what so ever except that things are a little less crouded. When you come you want to take a flight from Bankok to Ko Samui and then take a ferry from Koi Samui to Ko Phagnan, you want to work your way to the beach of Haad Yuan where the best bungalows are the Haad Yuan bungalows, they are the oldest on the beach and have the most character. There is Yoga and other classes being taught at the Santuary on Haad Yin beach, a short walk away. Be sure to go over to Wai Nam beach it too is walking distance and is in some ways the best beach. Have fun and perhaps I will see you on my way back from Bali.
    :)
