I don't know how to forward Events from one tribe to another... but y'all should come to this -- this is the event that was at Pismo last year.

FireDrums Gathering
Friday, April 15 2005 - Sunday, April 17 2005
Red White & Blue Beach (near Santa Cruz)
firedrums.tribe.net/

A fire arts and hand drummers gathering.
Last year we met at Pismo Beach (Central California) and people from all over showed up for a really fun weekend of both fire spinning and tribal drumming.
There were some amazing and excellent fire artists from all over and this year looks like there?ll be even more talent and more fun new faces for everyone to meet, learn and share moves.

Nick Woolsey will be back down with us again and BTW, he's traveling to several locations in California along with his partner Andy teaching poi workshops just prior to RW&B.
Their classes are as good as it gets.
Check them out @ www.playpoi.com/ & www.thevenue.org/

For those who haven?t yet experienced Red White and Blue Beach, it?s a beautiful private, clothing optional beach just north of Santa Cruz California.
RW&B is fire friendly and yes that?s right , you can spin naked , if you?re that confident.
There are several areas for camping, beach side or back in ? the Jungle? and there are hot showers.

It?s easy access from Cabrillo Hwy (just off US Hwy 1) with airports less than an hour away in San Jose and Monterey.
Santa Cruz is only 10 minutes away if you're in need of food, supplies and lodging (if you're not into the 'camping thing').

We also have several DJ?s this time to add some music to the mix.
Although we'll certainly be dancing and playing with our friends, please be aware that this is NOT A RAVE or dance party, so please keep this in mind when forwarding this to others.

As RW&B is a privately owned camp ground, the fees are a bit more than some other public places, but as everyone who's experienced it will tell you, it's well the $18 to have our own fire and music friendly, clothing optional playground in an amazing beach side setting.

Please join the FireDrums tribe firedrums.tribe.net/ to post
questions, suggestions, ride share info and anything else.
This is not a 'festival' nor is it a BurningMan sponsored event.
This is of course, a LEAVE NO TRACE GATHERING!

As for us SoCal peeps, if there's enough interest, I'm looking into
chartering a bus.
Carpooling is obviously highly recommended from wherever you're coming.
Ride share threads are on the FireDrums tribe for East Bay, SF,
Central CA, LA and SoCal, but feel free to start new posts from other areas for ride share as well as any other topics.
